V�ronique and I have lived in sunny Morocco for ten years now and as we move a lot, we have decided to sell our magnificient riad in Marrakech and head to sunny Spain.

LOCATION OF RIAD PUCHKA

Riad Puchka is located in the heart of the medina (old town), slightly north-east of the world famous Djeema El Fna square and the souks (10 minutes away on foot), 50 metres from Ben Saleh square, the Marrakech museum and Medersa Ben Youssef. You have access to two suberb golf courses in 5 minutes by car, the Royal Golf course of Marrakech and Amelkis, both loczted on the road to Ouarzazate.

THE RIAD`S CONTRUCTION

This is NOT a restaoration. Riad Puchka was built entirely from the ground up with modern materials : re-enforced concrete beams and cross-beams, all brand-new built-in electrical plugs and switches, city and well water, modern plumbling, cinder-block walls on all four sides with a 20 centimetre air space separating the riad from the neighbours, and much more. The concrete columns were inter-connected by chains, which in turn were stretched tight to ensure added solidy and strength to the total structure.

For a year and a half the architect and foreman were on hand day after day on the construction site (there were up to 20 men working on the site at one time), to ensure the quality of the work and materials used (concrete make from pure sand, the tadelakt walls, the hand-painted ceilings, the bejmat floors, the hand-cut zellige tiles, the hand-carved wood designs and plaster frescos.

The end result is a magnificent little palace: thought out, built and decorated in the purest of Moroccan traditional styles by the finest Moroccan craftsmen in the country.��.no expense was spared.

THE RIAD`S LEGAL STATUS

There is a full title and the riad is regiestered a a fully licensed guest house. There are no loans or any mortgage.

Ground floor :

You have a total sleeping capacity of 16, or 18 by putting down two extra beds.

The five bedrooms are heated and fitted with air-conditioning.

The machines and pumps relative to the pool and jacuzzi are located in a separate basement area.
